Mr. Walker, Superintendent of Jersey City Public Schools quoted Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. "Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere." I have attached a meme which further quotes Dr. King. Please read it and reflect. If this is too painful for you, I completely understand. I may never be able to know directly how you feel, but I am here and I grieve alongside you. Mr. Walker also stressed the importance of being "critical viewers of media, including print, television, internet, video, social media, and other digital spaces." This week I'll help you "imagine and make personal goals to promote a just society," as Mr. Walker has asked us to.
