Due to COVID-19, there is a national shortage of poll workers. A majority of poll workers are above the age of 60 and are considered high risk during these times. These workers prefer to stay at home in order to stay safe. Fewer poll workers result in fewer polling elections and fewer voters. Encouraging younger people to work at the polling centers solves this problem.
